Hey, just wanted to let you all I know I started a blog a week or two ago, I will be updating this once or twice a week with stories from my life as a musician and as a youth worker at the Holland Rescue Mission. I'll also be throwing things up from time-time like new song lyrics, stories about what God has been teaching me lately, videos, pics and more. Hey there, I wana quick say thanks to those of you who came to see me play in Caledonia a week or two ago, it was a good time! Right now I'm out in Georgia for a leadership training weekend with "Adventures in Missions" (AIM). I'm going to start doing worship leading a little more often for the short term missions trips that they operate. Its some exciting stuff! The weekend has already been a blast and there is a few more days to go. Its been great to spend some time experiencing God with a group of other people that are passionate about a lot of the same things that I am and doing full-time ministry. I will have to tell you more about it when the weekend is over!

Hey, how’s it goin? I hope you have had a great Christmas and an awesome start to the new year! I have been having a blast this last month or so, I’ll have to tell you about a few of the highlights…
Christmas with the family down in IL was great! I had a good time of catching up with everyone. We had this awesome house-wide nerf gun fight. Even my Grandma started shooting people! It was hilarious! :)
Earlier this last month I moved about forty minutes west to the city of Holland, MI. I actually moved into the Rescue Mission in town here. This is where I spend most of the other half of my time that I’m not doing music stuff. I’ve been working with the missions youth program for the last two years; and now that school is done I figured “Hey, why not move to Holland and keep doing more of what I’ve been doing?” Its been working out pretty well so far! If you would like to more about this ministry I’m involved in; please email me! I’d love to tell you more!
One of the songs off of the last album started receiving some airplay on a weekly radio show called “The Radio Café”. “Disappear” actually made it to the number one spot on their top-ten requested chart for the last few weeks! The radio show is out of Detroit, but you can hear streaming web casts of the show at http://www.theradiocafe.com/detroit.htm Check it out, I bet you’ll find some of the artists on there to be pretty awesome; and if you don’t mind scrollin’ to the bottom of the page and putting in a vote or a request for me that would be pretty cool!!!
This next month I have my first show of the new year! On Friday, Feb. 12th, I’ll be playing at Gaine’s Community Church in Caledonia, MI. I’d love to see you there if you are from the area!
